Self-care is one of those topics that are regularly espoused, but can be hard to keep track of on an individual level.

You can spend thousands of dollars a week and virtually a full-time schedule trying to care for yourself to optimum health. From stem cell replacement therapy to cryogenic freezing to sports massages, working out in the gym, spa days, yoga retreats, meditation efforts, finding the perfect supplementation schedule, socializing (as this is a pinnacle of health), and eating all of the best foods at the best times with the best recipes, the moment you decide to consider your self care is the moment that you  start to feel quite overwhelmed.

Becoming more positive about your self-care means that first you feel it is achievable, and next you try to isolate the behaviors that have stopped you from following this in the past. Additionally, finding a means to feel more active, comforted and also coherently aware of how self-care could work for you will make the most difference over time.

That being said, we would recommend the following advice completely:

Reducing The Fear Of Positivity

Marianne Williamson, a spiritual activist and leader in communities, has had plenty of interesting things to say. However, no matter how closely you subscribe to new-age or spiritual ideas, even you may find inspiration and clarity in the following quote: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.” Reducing the fear of positivity is a real struggle. We do fear being our most actualized selves, because what if we are not good enough when getting there? What if it leads us to live a life completely different one we think we want right now? All of these questions can paralyze, and sometimes lead us to destructive behaviors. When you are aware of that, you can begin to work on it.

Taking Baby Steps

Taking baby steps is important. You needn’t dominate the world right now, or even in fact. However, it’s important to know what you are getting into, and to ensure that you are able to make incremental progress that helps you develop in the best manner possible. It can seem like too much of an abstraction, but you would be surprised just how effective your results can be if you give yourself this room. Try it! Take one step forward, and see how you shine.

Speaking To A Community

Speak to a community who has your plight in check. Anything from discussing the best CBD skincare benefits for your chapped skin, to starting a new keto diet, to standing up for yourself in a relationship. Experienced forums or Reddit subgroups can help you find those you wish to connect to, and move on positively from there.

With this advice, you’re sure to speak to move towards positivity in the best manner possible.
