For many of us, worrying is almost second nature. It’s our go-to emotion, a product born from anxiety or concern. When an issue arises, we find ourselves knee-deep in worry and fear. We start thinking negative thoughts and the next thing we know, we’ve painted ourselves in a corner.
Have you ever spent time with someone who seems to have it all together? They’re happier. Healthier. They are brave and strong. And they appreciate everything, even the struggles they have to endure. How does someone like that come to be?
‘A day lived well is a life lived well,’ I told my friend.
He looked at me with a slight turn on his lips. I knew it was a mute question for me to explain..(but how to spend a day?). I thought for a moment , looking straight into his eyes. I asked him to name four flowers which he liked most.
Whether the experience is positive or negative many of us find the closing of a life chapter challenging.Sometimes we find ourselves happy to walk away, other times it is not so easy.
